The Science Behind CellSonic VIPP
CellSonic is a hand-held thunderstorm. VIPP emits three forces — pressure, light, and an electrical field — that the body uses to heal itself without drugs or surgery.
Very Intense Pressure Pulses
CellSonic VIPP technology is based on the pressure pulses developed forty years ago to pulverise kidney stones. CellSonic has made the machines smaller, weaker, faster and much lower in price.
The main advance is the high voltage switching used to make the high pressure pulses. By flashing a very high voltage across electrodes, the switching produces a true shockwave.
CellSonic VIPP is NOT a shockwave machine — it is much more:
- Pressure waves at the speed of sound
- Flash of light (photobiomodulation)
- Electrical field (25,000 volts)
- Electrolysis — forming oxygen & hydrogen at the treatment site
- All simultaneously in each pulse

Evolution of VIPP

What Happens During Treatment
Electrical Discharge
25,000 volts jump across a 1mm gap in the shockhead — like thunder making a bang during a thunderstorm.
The very fast switching is what makes CellSonic unique. This produces a true shockwave, healing quicker than any other method.
The Bioelectric Connection
Biophysics recognises that life is electrically responsive. Cell membrane voltage determines health or disease.
Healthy Cell
Normal functioning cell with proper membrane potential
Unhealthy Cell
Compromised cell — fatigue, susceptibility to infection
Cancer Cell
Severely depolarised cell enters uncontrolled multiplication
CellSonic's very fast bang creates very high frequencies sufficient to raise diseased cell voltage. The electrical field lifts the voltage to −75 mV, CONVERTING the diseased cell into a healthy cell.
This happens during a treatment and is detected by the diagnostics. This is biophysics doing what biochemistry cannot do.
The effects of the CellSonic VIPP on the cell voltage can be measured using a pendulum. Usually rose quartz hung on a string held in a practitioner's hand over the human body. Similar to a compass, this tool enables practitioners to measure the bioelectric field on the human body to diagnose chronic disease.
Dr Andrew Dickens, owner of Dayspring Cancer Clinic and CellSonic Expert, explains the science behind the pendulum and how to use it with CellSonic.
